Didier Drogba

|

Ever since Torres arrived for a British transfer record £50m last January Drogba’s days have looked numbered in west London. The powerful Ivorian striker proved against Valencia on Tuesday that he still has what it takes to play at the highest level despite his advancing years. Villas-Boas has continuously said that he intends to reshape the Chelsea squad from top to bottom and with statements like that there seems to be little chance of a new contract for Drogba. A combination of his age and contract being up at the end of the season mean that Drogba could be available for a bargain price in January.
