Eccleston Match Report vs Swindon

|

nathan_eccleston 4Nathan Eccleston was an unused substitute during Huddersfield Town’s 2-2 draw at home to Swindon Town at the weekend.  He started his first three games for the Terriers but he had to step aside for Lee Novak as the League One side came from behind to salvage a point. The game started so well for the home side when skipper Peter Clarke put them ahead after eight minutes. Huddersfield were not in the lead for long though as prolific Swindon striker Charlie Austin scored a minute later and the Robins were 2-1 up going into the break when Danny Ward hit a low shot that nestled in the back of the net after 28 minutes. Anthony Kay scored for the Terriers five minutes after half time but they could not find the winning goal. Perhaps they should have sent for Eccleston’s natural finishing ability.
