dani pachecoAccording to reports in Scotland, starlet is a summer target for interim boss . The Scottish club apparently want to take the young Spaniard on a season long loan deal to give the attacking midfielder a chance of first team football in the . The player has been watched at previous reserve games by Celtic scouts and could be seen as an important target as Celtic look to rebuild after a disappointing season under . Interim manager Lennon is hoping his performance as boss between now and the end of the season will be enough for him to get the job permanently, and is already looking at potential targets to strengthen the squad if such an eventuality arises. Pacheco would certainly take the SPL by storm if he was allowed to go out on loan but Liverpool boss may want to keep him as he increases his involvement in first team affairs. Pacheco has already impressed for Liverpool, playing an important role in the first leg of the tie against , coming on as a second half substitute to head across goal for to score the winner. No doubt such performances have stirred up interest from Celtic but would such a loan move benefit the young Spaniard?

With Liverpool possibly bringing in a lot of new players this summer, Pacheco would be ideally suited to a year in Scotland.
The fact that they are a successful club will rub off and he will be an excellent addition.

Pacheco has the know how of a top class player. A loan to the SPL, if he is played fairly regularly ,will do him good. Even though though pace of the SPL isnt as quick as the PL its much better than ‘reserve level’ and also it will develop his physical side.

Excellent player, possibly our brightest prospect. As much as I’d like to see him feature significantly in the line-up next year, he may still be just a little too green for the physical nature of the top-flight. One year in Scotland at a top club and then make him a proper part of the squad here.

Why can’t we give our own youngsters a chance. Theres some real qulity there with four or five already on loan to other sides in the SPL, Championship and 1st division. We have got to look at players who will be here for the next three to for years and stop looking to paper over the cracks. And by the way Neil Lennon is not the man for the job.

No-brainer, he will be hoofed up in the air – no chance!
