On 17th July 2010, live at The O2 Arena, A:3K Football will bring six of the world’s greatest footballers together to compete in a series of gladiatorial games of skill to discover who will be crowned the first A:3K Football champion. A:3K Football have gathered over £300 million (transfer value) of Global football talent to compete for the first time in an arena event and it is an experience not to be missed.
We can now confirm that David Villa, Cesc Fabregas and Steven Gerrard will be the first three confirmed elite A:3K Football competitors. A:3KFootball are recruiting the very best in order to give fans a spectacular football experience in one of the worlds landmark venues. The players will be stripped back to expose their raw talent, while standing alone with no teammates or manager to turn to. They will be competing head to head in a series of skills based challenges that will test their technique and nerve in ways they have never encountered before.
The A:3K Football format is unique. Set in a futuristic arena on a black Astroturf surface, the challenges combine technology and theatre to create a breathtaking spectacle of lasers, special effects and audio. Aura Entertainment are the management company behind the A:3K event and Director Terry Byrne had this to say:

Aura Entertainment has partnered up with AEG Live to make up to 15,000 tickets available for this football experience on the 17th July 2010 at the The 02 Arena. Presale ticketing will be available exclusively through 02 priority tickets and general release sales will be available from Friday 30th April.
ITV1 will televise the event exclusively in the UK.
