CSKA Moscow midfielder Milos Krasic’s agent Vlado Borozan has told calciomercato.it that Juventus are leading the race to sign the skilful 25 year old Serbian. Borozan believes that Italy or Spain would be the player’s preferred destination but he has not ruled out a move to England:
“There is something from Juventus. He is an important player and it’s true that he would prefer a move to Italy or Spain, but preferences are not always realised. Are English clubs in pole position? No. Juventus are competing in the race to sign him, but there are many questions left to answer. There is the World Cup, and CSKA’s position. I think the Russian club will wait to see what happens after South Africa.”
Borozan stated in May that he was aware of the interest from Liverpool and other Premier League clubs too but he also revealed Krasic had turned down a move to Manchester City in January:
“Manchester United have also been interested throughout the season and the player dreams of a move to such a great club. In January, he turned down Manchester City as he told me he wanted to move to a side of greater tradition and United are just that sort of club. . . I have also heard of interest from Liverpool, Barcelona, Real Madrid and AC Milan but none have been in contact with either me or CSKA yet this summer. He has told CSKA Moscow that he wants to change teams immediately, but they want to gamble on his price rising at the World Cup.”

I would love this guy at Liverpool. He’s exactly what we need on the left wing. We could try to offer Benni, Reira or Babel as part of the deal.

I’d much rather see us bring in 1. Silva or 2. Turan (depending on funds available)

Milos Krasic is a right winger. But we could sell Kuyt and buy Turan on the left.
