Valencia Star Off to Manchester City for £29m?

|

The Daily Mail is reporting that Manchester City have beaten Chelsea in the race to sign Valencia and Spain winger David Silva. The paper believes City have agreed a £29million deal for the 24 year old, beating off rivals Real Madrid and the London club to his signature. They are now expected to finalise contract negotiations worth to be around £160,000 per week and  City officials are believed to be in Spain to close the deal. There have been concerns, according to the paper, that Chelsea might step in at the last minute but it is believed the Blues are not prepared to meet Valencia’s asking price for the player. One time Liverpool and Manchester United target, Silva maybe joined at the City of Manchester Stadium by Yaya Toure and James Milner who are both said to be on Roberto Mancini’s wishlist according to the Mail.
