johnson-8-150×150.jpg” alt=”" width=”150″ height=”150″ />The Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper in Italy is reporting that Inter Milan manager Rafa Benitez is targeting Liverpool’s Glen Johnson and Tottenham’s Gareth Bale as new signings. Their Brazilian right back Maicon is expected to complete a move to Real Madrid for €28million shortly as they look to come into line with UEFA’s new financial fair play laws which come into affect in 2 years time. The Italian club are also keen to move on Maicon as he nears 30 with his value only likely to decrease in the future and they are targeting Johnson and Bale as potential signings for the full back positions. Inter made enquiries about Bale, according to the newspaper, last month and is valued at €20million by Tottenham while Benitez is a keen admirer of Johnson, although the Reds would not sell him cheaply either despite Liverpool’s financial difficulties.
