Italian Press: Berlusconi wants Reds Star
The Gazzetta Dello Sport is reporting that AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi wants to bring Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard to the San Siro next season. According to the paper, the Italian club are keeping up to date with Gerrard’s situation at Anfield and Berlusconi is apparently a great fan of the Reds midfielder. The Rossoneri board are apparently discussing a move for Gerrard next summer, and the club are hoping that Liverpool do not qualify for the Champions League for a second season in a row to persuade the England midfielder to leave Merseyside.
