are now 6 games into the season and are currently sitting 16th in the table. This season we are desperate for at least a top 4 finish if we want to keep the likes of Torres and co. Four of our five main rivals currently occupy the top 4 positions. And we’ve already been knocked out of the . So far it doesn’t sound or look too good. But are things really as bad as they seem?

Ok, yes, I agree that our off the field problems are at an all time low and this something that we desperately need to address.

Besides our off the field troubles, I actually don’t think our season has been all doom and gloom, out of our 6 games we have already played at home, Man City away and Man Utd away. Now we may have only got 1 point out of a possible 9 but apart from the City game our performances were no that bad, we had 10 men against and were subject to a very rare Reina error. Despite losing we fought back well from 2 down against Utd  and showed signs of some nice passing football. In the other 3 games, we beat who are showing they are no mugs by beating at the Emirates recently. , where we got a draw, have a unbeaten home record of over a year now. Ok, I agree that being at home we should have beaten a team like but they have beaten Man City and were unlucky not to get more than a point against .

I agree!! Although I have to add, it’s clear to me now why joe cole never played at the world cup and chelsea let him go for free! It’s because he’s crap!

You know why its doom & gloom? just look how were playing!
If we were playing well and it just wernt clicking i would be posotive but name one game where liverpool where TRUELY hard done by…
What you gonna say, Arsenal where we where out classed in the first 45? other than that weve been AWFUL 8 men behind the ball at all times, allowing other teams to play their football its disparaging watching liverpool right now. Hodgsons got until the end of the season in my eyes. FORGET about the owners for a min, fact is the team aint playing well and as Northampton shown (albeit against argueably a lesser squad) you dont need superstals to play decent football

Sorry for the rant but the Utrect game is just winding me up, yhh its away from home – but evry other game this season has been the same!

all this is, is a big huge barrel of excuses. the minimum place we should be is 5th, behind the genuinely better squads. this is shocking crap. I haven’t seen one positive since Hodgson arrived. we’ve beaten a couple of meagre opponents in the Europa. our only league victory was a hard fought victory against Brom. even the displays during draws have been shambolic. and the scoreline against United reflected nothing. we got not 1 chance from open play. a penalty u expect to be scored and the free kick was lucky to go in. United slaughtered us. this season has been a disaster so far. dont start kidding urselves.

sorry to say…but i think better we give Agger his place back and see what Skrtel and Agger can do together to shore up a leaking defensive line. no more carra..he’s time is up!
