The Daily Star is reporting that and target is refusing to sign a new deal with unless a £14million buyout clause is inserted into the contract. According to the paper, Young has had fresh talks about a £70,000 per week which would see his contract extended beyond its expiration in 2012. If Young continues to insist on such a clause however, Villa manager is willing to let the player go as he believes the player to be worth closer to £20-22million. The Star believes that a move in January could be possible if no new contract is agreed with both the Reds and Spurs both interested in signing the 25 year old winger.
