Juventus Sporting Director Giuseppe Marotta is keen to make the loan deal for Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani permanent:
“From our side there is the complete resolve to do this. He’s doing better than expected.(But) we have time, until June next year to do this.”
Aquilani has appeared 13 times for Juventus this season, scoring one goal against Lecce in a 4-0 home win back in October. Aquilani expressed yesterday that he would like to make the move to Juve permanent too:
“Sixteen million euros is a lot, but they can negotiate. Juve was a huge opportunity for me, I could not lose it. Leaving Italy was not easy, I faced many life changes.”

That’s true but we don’t want to negotiate. That’s what was supposed to be done before we agreed to the loan. Pay up or send him back. We fans do not want to lose him anyway. Some numpty made that decision to loan him when it was obvious he was about to be at his best.
