Olympique Marseille attacking midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has stated he would like to play in England, sparking interest from long term admirers Liverpool and Gerard Houllier’s Aston Villa. Valbuena said:
“My dream is to play in the Premier League, by far the best league in the world. England is a nation where football was invented, and it shows.”
Valbuena has played 13 times for Marseille this season, scoring a goal against Monaco in a 2-2 draw back in September.
