Red hails Young Starlet’s “Unbelievable skills”

|

Liverpool reserve captain Victor Palsson has expressed his admiration for Liverpool’s young Spanish starlet Suso. He told Liverpoolfc.tv:

“He’s got some unbelievable skills. He’s done me with a few nutmegs in training, which I am not too happy about! He is really skillful and has made a big impact since he arrived here. You can always trust him with the ball because you know he won’t lose it.”

Suso joined from Cadiz in the summer and has really impressed during his short spell with the team.

Like with Nemeth and Dalla Valle, Hodgson will sell all our promising youngsters and won’t give chances to the players like Pacheco and Mavinga. Under this manager, we won’t be able to attract top young talent to the club.

I don’t think he is gonna be given a choice about whether to bring youth thru, from what our new owner has said I believe that he will expect some through put from our youth system, if hodge won’t do it then maybe he will be replaced with someone who will be more Wenger like

Whats this Hodgson bash about- give him a go. Takes over a team in all sorts of trouble that been playing defensive football the past 5 years – lets not pretend it happened overnight. Not saying he is the best manager on earth but anyone who stepped into his shoes with this squad for this season would need time. Remember our top players were all injured & the rest of the squad had heads down when he took over- some blame Benitez i tend to think the old yank owners are the main blame. Lets all move on with positive thoughts hey -this side will come good.

Everyone keeps going on about our youngsters being given chances but no-one has thought about why 2 managers, completely different by the way, haven’t given them a sniff apart from Spearing, Shelvey and Ngog. The answer to that question is simple; THEY ARE ‘NOT YET’ GOOD ENOUGH!

I watch the reserves and U18 every week and none of the boys there have shown me any reason to believe they are ready for the rigours/physicality of the Premiership apart, of course, from the 3 mentioned above. Think for a second why none of our boys have gone out on loan to EPL teams (English Premier League for those that don’t know) like Arsenal’s Wilshere or ManUre’s Welbeck, Bardsley (initially on loan at Sunderland) and MB Diouf or Cheski’s Mancienne.

So, maybe just maybe, before we wonder “why isn’t Pacheco, Eccleston, Suso, Amoo, Ince, Irwin, Sterling, Kelly, Darby, Gulasci, Ngoo, Ayala, Robinson, Wisdom and Coady given chance”‘, we should actually be more objective and admit that our boys are ‘not yet’ good enough for the 1st team.

I agree and watching Shelvey play recently although he played out wide i noticed he still needs to develop his game further, physically and technically.
Shelvey to me is the most impressive i have seen of them and may well be a star, but like all of them it will take time.
