Rumour Mill: Liverpool to bid for Lille star in January?
According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool will bid for Lille’s 19 year old attacking midfielder Eden Hazard in the January transfer window. The paper believes that Reds boss Roy Hodgson is looking to strengthen his weakened squad in January and that Hazard has become a primary target for the Anfield club. Liverpool’s Director of Football Strategy Damien Comolli is a keen admirer of Hazard and the Belgian international has been identified as an exciting young talent. The Mirror believes Liverpool will bid for the player in January while trying to head off interest from Real Madrid and Arsenal.
