Liverpool are continuing to track Preston North End midfielder Adam Barton, according to the Daily Mail. The Reds are said to be keeping tabs on the 19 year old, along with a host of other Premier League clubs. Barton is all set to make his debut for Northern Ireland this week despite the fact he is also eligable to play for England. As it is a friendly though, he could still play for England in the future if he so wishes. The Preston starlet started out his career in the youth ranks of Blackburn Rovers before being released by the Premier League club at 16 with a serious back injury. He signed for Preston in 2008 and made his full debut for the Championship side in a league match against Scunthorpe United back in April.
