Rumour Mill: Reds to rival Man U for Spurs winger?

|

The People are reporting that Liverpool will rival Manchester United for Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon’s signature in the January transfer window. According to the paper, Spurs are willing to listen to offers for the player as they have become concerned about the player’s lack of form. It is rumoured that Harry Redknapp is looking to bring in Aston Villa’s Ashley Young as a replacement as the Villa star has yet to sign a new contract. The People believes that United manager Ferguson is a keen admirer of Lennon’s and the Spurs winger would welcome a return up North, while Roy Hodgson is also suggested to be keen on the player.

My first choice would be Young, but I think Lennon is a good player too and, like we keep saying, offers us natural width.

Young is much better and unfortunately Lennon is a bit injury prone and we could do without another part crocked player!

Plus SWP is better than Lennon and he also is looking for an exit from City!
