The two performances that Liverpool have put in over the last week have been hard to stomach. Firstly a needless capitulation away to a Newcastle side in crisis, while making hard work for ourselves in a meaningless Europa League match against Utrecht which was meant to be a fun day out for the kids. Blogs have ranged on a variety of issues this week, including the constant transfers rumours surrounding Liverpool football Club in Mark Wilson’s article  “Cole? Bentley? Cazorla? Bring on January I say” as well as David Tyrer assessing what the Reds need in the new year in ” Three Things I hope LFC gets for Christmas this year.” We welcome back Chris Severs, Kevin Messam, Zarif Rasul and Brian Durand this week, many thanks to them for their contributions.
