Rumour Mill: Chelsea star ‘wants’ switch to Reds?

|

According to the People, Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge is demanding a permanent move to Liverpool in January. The 21 year old has been on the fringes of the Blues first team but wants a move to Anfield to get more first team opportunities. He was linked with a loan switch earlier this month but the striker would like to join up with the Reds permanently, according to the paper. Sturridge has seen how another young star Jack Wilshere has flourished atArsenal with more first team starts and would like the same chance at Liverpool, while striking up a good partnership with Fernando Torres.

Sturridge helps to keep the quota of English players up but why bother if he is no better than Ngog.

  • Tom says:

See he seems ok, but he isn’t the sort of player that Torres wants to be playing with. Torres should be playing with some of the best, and Liverpool should be buying some of the best aswell. Rather than buying reserves from other teams buy someone decent who can help turn our rubbish season around!
