Video Loan Watch – What are Ince, Aqua and the guys up to?

|

Tom Ince – Going on loan to his father’s club in League One doesn’t seem to have been a bad idea for Ince. After scoring his first career goal against MK Dons at the weekend, the 18 year old followed that performance up by providing the assist for the third goal against Bournemouth in the second round of the FA Cup. Notts County were 3-0 up at half time thanks to goals from Krystian Pearce who headed in from a Neal Bishop cross, Lee Hughes who scored his fourth goal in as many matches and an own goal in first half injury time. Playing from the start, Ince weaved his magic from the left hand side for the third goal, performing a number of step-overs before Bournemouth full back Stephen Purches fell over, and the young winger crossed low into the box before Warren Cummings put the ball into his own net. Ince came off on 85 minutes to be replaced by Stephen Hunt. His contribution to the third goal is shown below:

Their is no point in sending these young players out on loan to lower division clubs, they learn nothing that would help them to make it in the Premier League. These young players should be sent out on loan to the likes of Newcastle, West Brom and Blackpool where it would be a condition as a part of the loan move that they get game time in the Premier League regularly like Wilshere did at Bolton on loan from Arsenal at age 17. Why any Liverpool fan thinks getting Insua back would be a good idea baffles me, as this article has shown he can’t even succeed in Turkey, he is as bad as Konchesky. Mavinga should be at leftback. Sell Aqualani in January before he gets injured, he has found his comfort zone in Serie A-no tackling. We already have too many players who want to play in the hole behind Torres

We have too many players that want to play in the hole behind Torres? Please name them. Stevie G can play there…does he want to maybe…equally comfortable there and in the MF. Then you’ve got Joe Cole…That seems to be working well. Babel…alongside yes, in the hole…NO. Same goes for Ngog. Pacheco…will he even get the chance.

There’s a big difference between wanting to play in the hole, and being able to do it at a good level. So, there are only really twoo that can do this, Stevie and Cole. Both suffer injuries and one is woefully off form. We’re really packed for number 10s aren’t we!

Ince- Roy won’t sell him no matter what because he’s Big Ince’s son.

Aquilani- Baffled and pissed when Hodgson loaned him out. Doesn’t make sense as we lose him for nothing for one season. Wouldn’t mind him coming back but would rather sell him and get around 13 mil and invest elsewhere.

Degen- Struggled with injuries and form but thanks for your time here, you can leave now.

Insua- Better than Konchesky so don’t understand why he was loaned out and at the start of the season we had to play Agger at left back but Woy still loaned him out for some reason. Another poor decision by Roy. This guy is still young and has potential and can do a better job than Konchesky but he’s not the long term solution for the left back position.

Palsson- Woy will sell him because he doesn’t like foreign youngsters.

Don’t know why the author isn’t mentioning Gulacsi, Ayala, Darby and El Zhar.

Gulacsi- Better than Jones. Capable of being understudy to Reina

Ayala- Good young centre back with huge potential. Can see him become an integral part of our plans for the future. Returning in January and provide cover at the back, that way, we don’t need to waste money on another centre back. I just hope Woy doesn’t sell him.

Darby- Young player but not good enough for Liverpool. He will probably be sold to some Championship team next season.

El Zhar- Arrived at Liverpool with potential to be a quality winger. Playing for PAOK in Greece now but already 24 and will probably be sold in the summer.

In reply to Torres9 you forgot about Kuyt and Jovanovic and Rodriguez, they all go into the middle even when picked on the flanks. Aquilani wouldn’t score enough goals playing in the NO. 10 position which a second striker must do, or are you expecting Torres to score 50 a season?
