Ajax manager Frank De Boer has expressed his interest in Liverpool forward Ryan Babel. The Reds and Ajax are still discussing a deal for Luis Suarez but De Boer would like to see Babel go in the opposite direction:
“He would be a very attractive proposition for us, because he can operate on either flank or as a central striker. I know him very well from the national team, and his arrival here would make Ajax stronger. But I can see problems with the financial side of it. It looks a very expensive deal.”
Hoffenheim have already agreed a fee with Liverpool for Babel but the 24 year old has yet to agree a move to the German club.
This week it is Liverpool fan Caroline Wozniacki!

cant we just involve him in the on-going negotiations..Babel plus 20million would be a not to you De Boer…i dont know but this manager has pissed me off..last week he wanted 17 million,two days after 21 million,now 25 million..what’s wrong with them?i wouldnt also want to lose suarez if i was an ajax fan but their officials must either tell an asking price or tell us that they want to keep him.by making the price higher and higher it’s like they’re acting fool on us..Get Luis here to be a generation of titles for Liverpool.sign Coentrao,Lassana Diarra and Hazard and 19th here we come!!

Suarez would be a quality addition to the squad but at the same time, I feel Babel has been treated unfairly and deserves more chances in the team. It would be a great shame to see him leave.
