Liverpool to name CEO ‘within days’?

|

The Sunday Times is reporting that Liverpool owner John W Henry will spend this week sorting out issues around the club. The principal owner of Fenway Sports Group returned to Merseyside to see the Reds 2-2 draw with rivals Everton on Sunday and will utilise his time in this country to appoint a new Chief Executive who can help with the running of the club on a day-to-day basis. The Reds have been without a CEO since Christian Purslow stepped down after the takeover in October, and the Times believes that Celtic chief Peter Lawwell (pictured) is still the front-runner for the job.

This week it is Liverpool fan Caroline Wozniacki!
