One of the fundamental differences that the sacking of Roy Hodgson and the appointment of King Kenny has made is that every Liverpool fan is now united behind the team and the manager. Issues around the ownership and around the futures of both Benitez and Hodgson in the past have distracted the Anfield faithful from giving the amount of support that is legendary and I think Reds fans would admit that this has had a bearing on the performances of the team at Anfield on occasion. Under Kenny and Steve Clarke, the Wolves display was a step in the right direction, but it is not something to get carried away with. It was Kenny’s first victory and if we are to climb the table to finish in the top 6, consistency is key, and the continuation of the style of play at Molineux is essential if we are to get a convincing victory against Fulham.
