Making the big transition from youth team prospect to first-team regular can come easy for some players, and become a very frustrating pursuit for others.The ages of these players range from 16 to 26, however all ten of them have reason to be confident that 2011 will be their breakthrough year.

Some of these names you know well, others will have flown under the radar, but all ten have a very significant year ahead of them as they try and break into the upper echelons of domestic football. Everyone knows about the potential of players like Jack Wilshere and Josh McEachran, however the aim of this list is to give you a few names that only fans of their parent club may have heard of. Get stuck in – let me know of any other players you’ve spotted, there are a lot of kids out there!
