German newspaper BILD is reporting that Hamburg are looking to sell their Dutch winger Eljero Elia, alerting Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, to his availablity. The German club are looking for money to finance their own summer transfer plans and are looking to offload the Dutch international. The Reds have reportedly been scouting Elia over the last year while Manchester City’s Brian Marwood and Mike Rigg have monitored the player’s progress since his time at FC Twente. If either the Reds or City were to bid for the player, Hamburg would be looking for a fee in the region of £12million.

Just because a player doesn’t fit in at a particular club, that doesn’t prove that he wasn’t good enough to do so – Aquilani at Liverpool being an immediate case in point…

give em jovanovic and a few million. Worth a try. Super quick. Left footed and direct. Enough of this cutting in rubbish we do all the time. Rather him than young. Young will just cut inside all day long. We got that already.

Jeez Nigel obviously you haven’t seen him play he’s Babel mark 2.Sulky, self opinioned idiots are not welcome and if you think he’s better than Young (who I’m undecided on)then you haven’t learned much from Babel’s spell.
