Italian Press: Three Clubs to bid for £10m Reds Defender?
Itasportpress.net is reporting that Wolfsburg, Juventus and Fiorentina are all interested in signing Liverpool centre back Daniel Agger. According to the website, German side Wolfsburg are leading the race for the Dane’s signature and have apparently already opened talks with Liverpool over a possible move for the player in the summer. The Germans are willing to offer £10million for the defender although it remains to be seen whether Liverpool are actually willing to sell the player at all after performing well since the appointment of Kenny Dalglish as manager. The Dane had been a lynchpin of a Reds defence which had conceded only one goal in seven games before the 3-1 defeat to West Ham at the weekend.

Agger is one of the few good players Liverpool currently have. Carragher is past it and he and Skyrtel should be got rid of in the summer. Agger next season should be pushed forward into central midfield and be given the license to get forward and use his ferocious shooting power.
