Middlesbrough have rejected an approach from Liverpool for left winger Cameron Park, according to the Times. The paper reports that Liverpool Director of Football Strategy Damien Comolli is determined to land the 18 year old, but Boro have resisted an initial bid from the Merseysiders. Another exciting star to come out of Middlesbrough’s academy, Park is being compared to two other success wingers to come out of Teeside in Adam Johnson and Stewart Downing, but Park has a contract to 2015 and has only played in 3 substitute for Boro so far.
