The Spaniard had a fantastic debut for against Scunthorpe United on Saturday. He was a provider of the first two goals for his strike partner Grant Holt and also nearly got a hat-trick of assists when his fantastically weighted through ball found its way to Marc Tierney who hit the post. Norwich manager Paul Lambert praised Pacheco after the match:

“I thought his debut was as good as I’ve seen. I thought he was brilliant, he lifted the crowd. The hype about him was over the top. People thought he was just going to come in here like Lionel Messi. He’s only a 20-year-old kid learning the game, but I thought his performance was fantastic.”

He was certainly appreciated by the crowd who gave him a standing ovation when he was substituted on 70 minutes. See highlights of the match below:

Aquilani got his first start for his country in a few years against Slovenia in a Euro 2012 qualifier last week, and followed that up with a good display for Juve at the weekend as the Old Lady beat Roma 2-0 away from home. Aquilani nearly broke the deadlock himself in the first half with a lob which went just over the bar in the 17th minute, but goals from Milos Krasic and Alessandro Matri sealed a much needed win in the second half for Juve.
