It seems as if Liverpool have been linked with every left back under the sun so far this season. Of course, it is unsurprising considering the lack of players we have currently in that position. With Paul Konchesky likely to return to Fulham after his ill fated spell at the club, Fabio Aurelio’s injury problems and doubts over Emiliano Insua’s future, one of the priorities in this summer’s transfer market will be to purchase a top class left back.
