Italian Press: Reds rival Inter for Argentine Striker?

The Corriere Dello Sport is reporting that are rivalling for striker . Inter manager wants another striker signing in place before the end of the transfer window and the Italian club have approached Lazio about a 12 month loan deal. Zarate’s Agent has revealed to Sportitalia however that Liverpool have enquired about the 24 year old. The Argentine has been put up for sale after falling out with Lazio’s management.

    Inter just bought Forlan from Atletico Madrid so this is probably old news.
