The Corriere Dello Sport is reporting that Inter Milan are rivalling Liverpool for Lazio striker Mauro Zarate. Inter manager Gian Piero Gasperini wants another striker signing in place before the end of the transfer window and the Italian club have approached Lazio about a 12 month loan deal. Zarate’s Agent Beppe Bozzo has revealed to Sportitalia however that Liverpool have enquired about the 24 year old. The Argentine has been put up for sale after falling out with Lazio’s management.
