Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani is expected to move on loan to AC Milan in the next 24 hours. The crucial difference in this agreement to the Juve deal though is that Milan will have to sign him if he plays 25 matches or more. Milan vice president Adriano Galliani is delighted about the impending signing:

“We’ve signed a player with great quality. He’s the right man for Milan. Our transfer market campaign has now come to a close.”

Aquilani has also spoken about the potential move:

“I am delighted to have arrived here. This is a leap in my career. I have come to Milan to do well. I have different characteristics to (former AC Milan midfielder) Andrea Pirlo but this is a further responsibility for me. I believe I can play in all positions in midfield. The clause of making at least 25 appearances? It’s not a problem for me and I’m not thinking about it. I will do everything possible to earn the trust of the club.”

Knowing Milan he will play 24 games and than they will offer a pair of old sock for him when he returns to Liverpool.

If Alberto wants to play football and be important for his team than he must accept the fact that he is not worth his wages anymore.
No one wants to pay half of what Liverpool payed, it should give him a clue. If fee has dropped so did wages.

I’m sorry for him because I think he is a good player, he should count for something in the team he plays in.
Warming bench in Milan in his prime will seal his carer for good and he could have joined Fiorentina.

But you got to listen to your agent, right?
