It’s not like he has the pace to pass and run past players.Liverpool should be putting to better use his best attributes. We know what he’s good at and we know he’s a natural finisher, so why not just give him orders to stay as high up the pitch as possible, find space and wait for service?
Even when he’s not scoring goals you can see how hungry he is to get involved with play and make things happen. It’s encouraging to see that he’s not the kind of player who hides when he’s not getting goals. Perhaps that’s why Torres was so widely mocked before he got his first Chelsea goal – he simply didn’t offer the club anything.
With Andy Carroll on the other hand, the opposition always has to be wary. If they relax for even a second it’s clear that he’ll make them regret it.
As the games go by,Liverpool fans are becoming more and more supportive of Carroll. Surely it wont take much longer until he’s a fan favourite?

Why, cos am sure you have seen it yourself and read countless times elsewhere, he slows down the team.Y? Cos he simply isn’t mobile enuf!
