Why I haven’t lost faith in the team just yet

|

You can never underestimate how much settling into a new location and new team can affect your performances, and when you consider that Liverpool have so many ‘new’ players it makes it slightly more understandable that they’re not going to be explosive right away. Look at Charlie Adam for example, and consider that he occupies a crucial central position where he is expected to be in possession of the ball more than most players and is also meant to be the person directing our play like a quarter back. His performances have been a mixture of promising and average so far but with so much responsibility being placed on his shoulders within his first couple of months at the club, it is understandable that it will take him a bit of time to get his passing completely in sync with the rest of the squad.

We have plenty to be positive about though, with Steven Gerrard now back and regaining his match sharpness while Glen Johnson’s return means that we now have our first choice right back available for selection for the first time this season. Once these key players return to full fitness, it should make the settling period for our newer recruits a little bit easier. Some ‘experts’ would say that Liverpool’s squad doesn’t possess enough quality to get back into the Champions League, but I couldn’t disagree more. We have a squad filled with some truly top class players, and our underachieving is down to the team not reaching its potential rather than from a lack of quality personnel. One thing I’m certain of though is that Liverpool do have a squad capable of challenging for the top four positions, and once the recent acquisitions settle in and begin to gel, there’s no telling how high up the table we can finish.

I disagree, we have been average even with the new players , we spent close to 210m since January we should up there with the Manchester teams and not 7th , KD has lost the plot, changing the team often same as Rafa , replacing players that play outstanding in one game and replaced in another, his tactics are in question , against ManU we take the lead and wanted to defend the 1 goal, he should have brought on Bellamy / Carol on to replace Downing/ Kuyt, surely we would have won the game.KD will not take us to top for at least 4 /5 years, I hope and pray he proves me wrong.

its simple.dalglish is a racist.he wants british only players in the team.we shud have bought mata not henderson, aguero not carol, lavezzi not downing.we shud rectify that in january by getting subotic/cahill/loveren/vertoghen for defence, then buy marin/lucas/ramires for midfield and then llorento/lavezzi/damiao for striker.ynwa.wake up kenny
