Liverpool should no longer take the high road in this matter

|

I think Liverpool should deny all charges and fight. Yes, it will be a battle we will probably lose, but it should be a battle that the FA should remember. Liverpool should no longer take the high road. Liverpool should no longer conduct ourselves with the regal dignity that we have in the past. To return to glory, Liverpool needs to remove their gloves, get down in the mud and scrap. Fight, and fight for everything and not accept anything that may be even the slightest bit unfair. A message needs to be sent that for too long, the Red Army from Merseyside has been quite. But no more.

Teams and the FA may have taken our silence and dignity for weakness. That is their mistake. Under the leadership of King Kenny, we need put down our crown of 18 league titles. We need to drop our sceptre of 5 Champions league title and remind those in the FA who we are. Let the war cry of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ echo in their halls as they attempt to unjustly target us. Let them know that we have walked on through the rain and wind and though our dreams were tossed and blown. We are still here, and we do not walk alone.

I agree the more the club is at the FA the better for us in the long run. We may get charged and fined Kenny may get banned to the stands, but Fergies hadthat done but he still carries on. The FA will eventually back down because of the stature of our club globally. When the FA try and promote the league they do it by promoting the likes of Man Utd n Liverpool and they need them onside, well thats my take on it then again i could be talking rubbish but thats how i feel.

1 rule for 1 team and another for the rest it seems.

Totally agree with this. I’ve said for years that we – club as a whole – need to show a bit more backbone and, well, become a more ugly club. I’m sure we can all be proud of our clubs integrity and tradition but sometimes, you have to win ugly and I think that that includes taking the FA and other clubs to task when things are clearly going against us unfairly.

The FA has been a promotion agency only to some clubs taking the side of Rooney in his appeal. But strangers like Luiz Suarez is being the victim of the RACIST FA. why, why, why and why only Luiz Suarez? Either the FA is worried the LUIZ SUAREZ is better than wayne rooney and if he is at his best and given the same conditions and protections, he will rock the world as he has done in winning the South American CUP. And given his age and his passion, he will outclass and be better than Rooney. The newspapers and TVs are onle showing the other side of Luiz Suarez and trying to stop him giving his BEST form for LIVERPOOL FC. Suarez is Just a Great, not great but AWESOME PLAYER that terrorize defenders. Referees are just undermining his potential and giving him his merit on the pitch. They just have to treat their eyes to see must clearly.

Sell Suarez = keep Carroll and play to his strengths for once. Incidentally the youths were completely outplayed by local ASwansea boys who cost nothing – vastly overated – half of them should go now

Kenny should bring his video screen to the hearing and run a montage of ManU, Chelsea, etc doing the same where no charges were ever made. Maybe mix it up with footage of Suarez getting worked over and not getting the calls. Friend is a real character, all of the trouble he caused in one game. Kenny was brilliant to use the video evidence at his press conference.

nice article, i especially like the part where Liverpool should, and i quote, “remove their gloves, get down in the mud and scrap. Fight, and fight for everything and not accept anything that may be even the slightest bit unfair.” Finally someone who sees sense
