Are you sick and tired of so-called expert pundits and former players sitting on the fence when it comes to giving their opinions? Don’t you just wish they would tell us what they really thought and answer honestly, without fear of offending others in the game?

Throughout his career Liverpool FC legend Robbie Fowler was no stranger to controversy. Whether he was making the headlines for all the right reasons or all the wrong ones, he could never be accused of sitting on the fence; everything was done with a refreshing honesty rarely seen by a top professional in the modern game.

His stance to publically support the Liverpool dockers which earned him a hefty fine but glowing admiration, and his honesty in telling a referee that it wasn’t a penalty after being awarded one, in a top of the table clash v Arsenal won him many admirers, not just in this country but around Europe.

However incidents such as the infamous Graeme Le Saux taunt, and a ‘grass eating’ celebration against derby rivals Everton, confirmed Fowler did things his way, however controversial and regardless of any reprisals that may follow.

Years after his playing career, the striker who is still known as God to the Red half of Merseyside answers all manner of questions truthfully, as he is interrogated whilst hooked-up to a lie-detector machine.

Does he think Roy Hodgson is the right man to manage England? Does he think he was better than Wayne Rooney? Would he really leave his missus alone with John Terry? Is Ashley Young a cheat?

As he is reminded, this is not the Match of the Day panel and after wavering when revealing which he regrets most – the Le Saux incident or the infamous celebration v Everton – his kidnapper’s bring out the ultimate torture device!

Jimmy Areabi (Editor) - @fantasista1077: Huyton raised like Steven Gerrard, football has been my passion since the time I received a Kenny Dalglish badge as a toddler, and I've followed the Reds ever since – something that was easier during the 80s, when I worshipped John Barnes! I've produced work for many football media outlets & am now happy to run a major site on the club I love - providing our fans with a voice, and to bring as much information and news on the club as possible.
Having played football all my life, I aim to continue longer than Stanley Matthews...
