FRESH from trouncing all that stood before them during Euro 2012, the Spanish team have returned home triumphant on their private plane.
Liverpool FC goalkeeper Pepe Reina was part of the record-breaking squad (the first international team to win three major international tournaments in a row), and although he never featured in any of the games, it seems our custodian has managed to find himself another role for La Roja.
As you may remember, Pepe was heralded as Spain’s cheerleader and MC after the World Cup victory in 2010, and was up to his old tricks again here during the flight home, with members of the successful squad such as Xavi and Gerard Pique being ‘entertained’.
Joker Reina, it seems, is managing to out-do even Grobbelaar in the ‘clown-prince of ‘keepers’ stakes…what is it with Liverpool goalkeepers?
¡Felicidades Pepe!

He needs to improve this season he was abit dissappointing in other games he shld lose weight
i believed Rodgers has watch Lfc last season video and saw how flop reina was if so then Rodgers should not even try to use reina as #1 keeper if there is no club coming after him (reina),Rodgers should ask reina to find other club for him self then pick up Doni as #1 to mount the post.
Reina had one not too good season…xabi alonso did too, and we wanted to sell him off, but he came good the next year, and when we did actually sell him off…boy, did we regret it…Reina has been pure class for us for many years now, and it would be foolish to dismiss him on account of one mediocre season!
