LUIS Suarez banged in an impressive hat-trick for Uruguay on Wednesday as his led his side to an amazing 6-4 win over Chile in a friendly.
Suarez, captaining the Uruguay Olympic side, saw his team go 2-0 down before sparking a remarkable comeback, scoring in the 31st, 35th and 47th minute, leaving the score-line reading 4-2, whilst also winning a penalty!
The second goal in particular, showed what Liverpool’s number 7 is capable of, taking out a bunch of defenders with his sharp close control, before firing in a strike from an acute angle.
It was a finish reminiscent of the goal he scored past Sunderland for the Reds in the Stadium of Light. The Uruguayan star was then substituted after an hour’s play.
During the performance, the impressive Edinson Cavani added a further two goals (one of which was the penalty that Suarez won), whilst Gaston Ramirez – a name recently linked with the Reds – assisted in two goals. Abel Hernandez was the other scorer whilst Liverpool’s young centre-back Sebastian Coates also took part in the match.
Showing this kind of form, Liverpool fans simply cannot wait for the new season to start and see Suarez leading the line, playing a major part in Brendan Rodgers’ new-look footballing philosophy at Anfield.

it’s great to see Suarez looking prolific lately to go with his undoubted quality in his general play. Could Great Britain be his next victims in the Olympics?
