If Suarez bit back at Cameron and Clegg

Suarez LFC ToriesLUIS Suarez has criticized the poor stewardship of the country by Misters Cameron and Clegg.

He states they have broken promises of protecting front line services, damaged the NHS, failed to crack down on banker’s bonuses, increased unemployment, increased student tuition fees, and saw national debt grow by almost £170 billion a year! He brands Misters Cameron and Clegg a complete disgrace and goes on to say their incompetence wouldn’t be tolerated in Uruguay.

Uruguay has its own well funded welfare state, maintained through relatively high taxes and is largely free of serious income inequality. Suarez goes on to say their leader is a real man who was imprisoned during the 1973-1985 military dictatorship and Misters Cameron and Clegg would have not lasted a day in such an environment as those spineless toads would have sold out their comrades in seconds.

Actually, he didn’t say any of these things (I wish he and others would); he’s a footballer and not a politician. He doesn’t comment on them, and they shouldn’t comment on him.

Mr Cameron, who is running the country in a civil partnership with a look alike, decided he’d kick a man when he was down. He decided to comment to condemn a professional athlete, a working man who had already admitted guilt, paid a fine, apologised to the player he had wronged, his fans, the club and all those involved in football.

Mr Cameron chose to do this when while an independent panel was trying to pass judgement. As a brave Harry Redknapp has already suggested, it did make it difficult for the independent panel to be independent.

Mr Cameron’s concern over a Uruguayan’s influence on British school children doesn’t seem to mirror his lack of concern for the influence English international players influence on the same children. England players Rooney, Terry and others are possibly more relevant examples to British children.

What about all the bad language children see players use? Transmitted live into their living room’s while parents watch and don’t flinch. Surely such behaviour is more likely to be mimicked than the momentary madness of Suarez. Little Freddy is more likely to see that constant bad language and interpret it as acceptable, more than a man losing his mind and biting someone, apologising and being dragged over the coals for it!

I would like someone to ask the PM the following questions:

Why does Mr Cameron feel it appropriate to pass judgement and comment on a sportsman who is in the process of being punished for a sporting error by an independent panel? Does Mr Cameron agree that it was incredibly stupid for him to make comments which would be likely to influence the panel and impact on their ability to be impartial? Apart from trying to boost his own ratings, what does Mr Cameron feel he achieved by publicly attacking a man who had already, unreservedly accepted his error, paid a fine to charity, and issued apologies to all? Does Mr Cameron make it a habit to kick hard working men when they are down?

Suarez is his own worst enemy, no doubt, but he’s the easiest target going. When the captain of England is using racist language repeatedly, he’s a tough target. I will forever hold this against Mr Cameron; my vote was never in the offering to be honest so he’s not lost much. Maybe most Liverpool FC fans votes were already not within his grasp so it was a calculated attempt to gain favour with the anti-LFC/Suarez crowd?

Why did he comment? So many others have jumped on Suarez’s back I guess one more monkey isn’t a problem.

Irresponsible Mr Cameron could learn a thing or two off teachers. Teachers don’t say a student is thick, dumb and a fool. They respect their position and are diplomatic; a word he surely must know. The grief caused by a teacher’s stray words is recognised by teachers but big bad Mr Cameron is a politician and will kick a man when he’s down.

Teachers remember their duty of care but Misters Cameron and Clegg seem to neglect theirs – nothing new there, eh?

An armchair fan who loves the stadium experience but likes the bread and butter of replays, moronic pundits, a drink in a pub atmosphere. LFC is my religion.

Common sense is missing from football but the situation is always complicated so I endeavour to give opinion and encourage discussion and thought about LFC.

I luv dis article n hope mr cameron feels shame for attackin Suarez. U’d wonder if d man(cameron) think before he talks cos he should have more pressin issues to deal with instead of talkin abt Luis. Dis is not to support Luis mistake, infact Luis went out of order but cameron should have known lfc can handle Luis without his opinion. How come he never said anything abt terry racist, messin around with women when he was england’s captain, maybe dis are good examples to mr cameron, him alone can tell. Pls mr cameron, it is not for u to interfere with LFC issues cos d truth is your opinion is never going to be needed. Suarez, we accept your appology but u most promise to be of good behaviour now n always. Hope u come back stronger to shame your enemies.

I think Mr camerum is just a confused man! He has too many problems to battle with yet the confused man still has time to criticize Suarz who has already apologised to d man he wronged. Mr confused all said those rubbish to influence the outcome of the independent body

  • imoff says:

Someone just has too much time on his hands and this issue is a much pressing issue than all the economic issues plaguing Europe .
