Suarez won’t force move

LFCACCORDING to The Express, Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has told the club that he still dreams to play in the Champions League, but has no intention of forcing a move in order to sate this desire.

Suarez’s agent Pere Guardiola, who is also the brother of the newly appointed Bayern Munich manager Pep, held talks with Brendan Rodgers and Ian Ayre yesterday. This conversation did not include a transfer request from Suarez despite the Uruguayan publicly airing his ambition to play for Real Madrid numerous times.

And Suarez’s wanderlust has been noted by other top clubs, namely Arsenal, Real Madrid and Chelsea believed to be the three primary destinations in the midst – though Suarez does not intend to force through a move from the club in order to play for these suitors.

Arsenal were the first club to make an approach for the 26 year old, but their club record £30 million bid was knocked back immediately by the Reds.

However, new Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho looks poised to make an approach. A bid of £40 million means Liverpool will allow the club to start talks with the player, though they have stressed that a £40 million bid will not guarantee the player.

Hey all, I'm 17 years old and I've only been writing sports articles for a couple of months. I'm an aspiring journalist living in the Anfield area (about 5 minutes from the stadium, seriously, I can hear the roar of the Kop from my house!) I've been a lifelong supporter along with my entire family (except one Uncle, but we don't need to talk about that) and I've followed the Reds through the good and the bad times - and there's been a lot of both. I recently got accepted into college and shall be taking a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Journalism, with this hopefully being the first step towards a full time career in journalism.

Or 50 mil + the back who suarez bit, can’t spell his name.

  • Marc says:

    Or 35mil + hazard

Come on BR play hardball with your old friend Jose. Get rid of the idiot suarez, he is bad for team morale- get a small fortune and one of the three positions that we need. IE. CB , creative midfield and new striker. Then take that money and get Soldado or Benteke and Eriksen. Sell the waste of money Downing, unless you gonna play him at the back. Who knows, maybe he will be great there. No way, at wing, he is so predictable, even my 8 year old nephew knows when he is going to cut inside. Get this deal done. Remember suarez can’t play the first 6 games, and we are training now, we need ALL our players together as a unit. We MUST start off the season running! YNWA

Comments by suarez suggest that he has alredy signed personal agreemnts with the 2 or 3 options f his…suarez will try to force a move at a discount and its clear his colluding with these club thats why offers havnt yet been tabled

Act fast on this suarez issue, he(suarez) is not the only best player we have in the team, and he is not the only best player in the world. Soljer go soljer come, when lan rush left,we found robbie fowler, fowler left, we found crouch, crouch left, we found f torres, torres left, we found suarez,if suarez leave there is another player. We can use is Sales to rainforce our squared by signing, errikson, benteke and llori.

  • Arnold says:

$30m plus Torres would be tempting!

    • Andrew says:

Why would that be tempting? 7 league goals last season and you’re rating el traitor in the £15-£20 million mark???? Do me a favour remember we are LFC and we should never accept people who see us as 2nd best. By his actions in 2011 el traitor finished himself with us

  • Mark says:

Suarez to Chelsea for 30m plus Torres!!! Although if we are to believe anything from the media, is it not true that Suarez loves Liverpool and only wants to move because of the bad press he gets in England??? If that’s true then why would he want to even consider Arsenal or Chelsea??? Mark my words…. Suarez will be at Liverpool at least till January!!!

  • Jas says:

No less than £55 million to an EPL rival.
But I thought he said he’s fed up of the British press? (Arsenal and Chelsea ARE in Britain you know!) and he has said he’s happy at Liverpool and with fans support. So I can’t see him WANTING to play for an EPL club, despite European football.
But then again, who knows with these mercenaries these days?!!

  • Jas says:

Have you forgotten how Torres sulked for his last few weeks at LFC?
    Torres??

    NO THANKYOU!!

    • Andrew says:

Actually Jas the last few weeks weren’t that bad he got 3 or 4 goals in that time. It was the previous 4 to 5 months that apart from (surprise, surprise) the chavski game but totally agree I wouldn’t touch him

  • Carl says:

Jose Mourinho + Louis Suarez=Big problems for Roman Abramovich .

    • oscer says:

I think, heCsuarez) z n’t normal!!!!! br sell this rubbish faster as u can. always talk nonsence

  • RedFactor says:

To be honest I would love the suarez issue to be resolved as soon as possible. But the truth is that he is still a property of LFC. Some comments being made about him are unfair even though it is understandable that they reactions to his flirtatious comments with champions league clubs. The truth is that he did the club both good and bad last term. And it is clear that his conscience is pricking him over the support he recieved from us. Let’s not bask in his disloyalty. It is against our anthem. Let’s walk with him even through it and let his sin judge him on the field of play where ever he goes as it did to el Nino. When Judas kisses you and you embrace him, he hangs himself in the end. Loyalty is stupidity when it seems to fail to win someone over, but it is a permanent thorn to whoever recieves it but still chooses to ignore it . Our loyalty is not to an individual but to the club and it should never be conditional.

  • Dean Fitzpatrick says:

Wats wit everybody saying sell him,d way I see it is we shud sit down wit him tell him to give us 1 more year try fight it out for champions league,I really think wit him der and a couple more gud attacking players brought in we can do it.he knows he is cherished at our club I’d be devastated if he left
