The Express today reports that Liverpool FC are plotting a move for the ‘new Arjen Robben’
Liverpool plan to bring Serbian wonderkid, Richairo Zivkovic to Anfield this summer.
Zivkovic currently plays in Holland for Groningen and is the club’s youngest ever player having made his debut in December 2012.
Zivkovic who also holds Dutch nationality has wowed supporters and scouts from other teams already this season, with a series of impressive performances. Despite holding the dual nationality Zivkovic chose to represent his mother’s side after watching Serbia perform impressively during the U19 European Championships.
However, reports suggest that Liverpool head the queue to sign the wonderkid.
Serbian newspaper Blic reports that Liverpool have sent scouts to watch the youngster on numerous occasions.
Groningen President Hans Nijland was quoted as saying:
“All the big clubs in the Netherlands are interested in him but Liverpool scouts are particularly active. They are constantly watching us.”
Once again Brendan Rodgers and his scouting team seem to have unearthed yet another talented young player who could perform at Anfield for many years to come.
Once again though, supporters could be forgiven for asking why we are only looking at players for the future when the first X1 needs attention also, only time will tell if we can get the balance correct.

Liverpool should sign gud player that are fit like aguero
Boring . Yet another ‘wonderkid’ . How many times have we signed them ?
Sign Erickson, Muriel or Martinez and leave the wonderkids alone. After all, we do have wonderkid Ibe and Suso without playing time.
English players are over rated and over priced. Hope we don’t spend £10 m on Hughes seeing as he has only played in the championship especially when coutinho cost £8.5 from Inter Milan and he had champions league football. Fingers crossed we buy eriksen or mata and either sakho
I will just wait for the confirmation of this player. Too many players already linked with Liverpool this summer. Once they are linked the players’ market value sky rocket. Not sure how this player would fit into BR’s system.
Much better if LFC can sign Mamadou Sakho and Kryiakos Papadoulos together.This 2 players enough to give protection for LFC fortress this season.
If LFC is strongest in financial they won’t be struggle to get signing whoever and whatever players they are dream it.New owner John Henry and FSG is not so good so far to become LFC owner.They make new transfer policy but they cannot fullfill it the condition very well.Young talent is good for development system but they not able to pay or meet asking price to realize the dealing.1 by 1 target players are missing away and they can just give a little smile ( frusted ).I think this is 1 provent that LFC owner never give fully support for the clubs.Untill now they cannot get sign marquee signing because never having “big budget”.The real is only just get bargain fee.

I wont cimplain about BR or FSG,but really tired of ‘next robben’,’next messi’,’next gerrard’ thing. We supporters want players for first team. Only 10 days left. If want to bring kids do it after we get the players we really need before the transfer window is closed.

Prince mate , I would have to disagree with you there . I think it’s shrewd buisiness spotting talent early on as even 17-20 year old players now are fetching for just under £10 million … Example ; zaha , ince . When these players mature and playing first team football we save some money that can be invested on bringing in better players .
