lfc targetTHE Daily Mail is today reporting that Victor Moses has emerged as a loan target for Liverpool FC.

According to reports, Brendan Rodgers has identified 22 year old Victor Moses as an ideal addition to the squad as he tries to add quality to the left flank which will allow Philippe Coutinho to play in his preferred No10 position.

Although Moses is expected to be in the Chelsea squad for the game against Manchester United this evening, they are willing to let the player leave on loan.

Chelsea want a loan fee of £2 million and for Moses’ wages of £55,000 per week to be paid in full.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is hoping to get the fee and wages reduced in an attempt to get the player to Anfield by using his close friendship with Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho as a deciding factor.

Moses’ first team chances this season are going to be significantly reduced with the return of Kevin De Bruyne and the signings of Andre Schurrle and most recently Brazilian Willian joining from Russian team Anzhi Makhachala.

There are also reports that Juan Mata could be available for transfer and Liverpool FC will certainly be interested if those reports are proven correct.

Wow. I cant believe how many LFC fans are willing to accept this. We have a new bumper t.v. deal, have slashed the wage bill, are in the top 10 earning clubs in world football & have made a profit in this window!!! But you will accept Moses on loan, developing a rivals young player.Guys you need to get real, FSG are looking to sell and have no intention of spending to get us into the top 4. This is a joke. But you just continue to line the pockets of FSG with a smile on your face…. ow & how long do you think rodgers will put up with FSG setting a target of top 4 & not backing him in the transfer market to get?

We understand your point Ms Catherine but we have to keep in mind that Liverpool have debts that needs to be settled too. All the funds from tv rights, sponsorships, jersey sales are not enough yet for us to compete with the likes of MU and RM. Does this debt was caused by FSG? It all started with the sale from the Moores to Gillet and Hicks which brought our club plumetting down. Than came Rafa’s tinkering which saw Alonso depart to be replaced by Aquilani. Failure to reach CL have all contributed to the current situati on. Though FSG have not helped much in the transfer matter, but they have pulled us up from near sewer. How can we accuse FSG planning to degrade us.? Will you invest £millions for something that will make you lose money? And on Victor Moses, we are not taking him to nurture an enemy’s player but he is a surplus to them. Taking someone on loan with option buying him later is good move. And if he can help us to get top 4, it will be extremely brilliant business.

why the hell are we after moses? we have sterling and ibe. What has moses done in the last year to justify paying chelsea £2m plus his ridiculous wages?

  • Raam says:

Yo Fred, rubbish is it what you described the comments? Read what Rick Parry said about our club and what caused LFC to be what it is now. Sometimes it is usefull to use our brains!
