LFC targetLIVERPOOL FC target Luis Muriel has now jumped to the top of Manchester United’s wanted list reports The Metro.

The 22 year old Colombian international is top of the list of players manager David Moyes wants to replace the wantaway Wayne Rooney with.

Manchester United new chief scout Robbie Cooke is pushing for the deal to take place having just returned from watching Muriel score two goals for Udinese in a Europa League qualifying game against Siroki Brijeg.

It is believed that Liverpool and Barcelona both had scouts at that game also.

Muriel, 22, is an exciting prospect, a fast and creative forward who can play on either wing and as an out and out striker. He scored 11 goals for Udinese last season and has been mentioned by numerous Reds fans as either a replacement for Luis Suarez, or indeed an ideal player to play alongside the Uruguayan.

It is believed that Muriel would be available for £18million and if he were to join Manchester United it would be another blow to Liverpool, losing out on another exciting target, just as Henrikh Mkhitaryan chose to move to Borussia Dortmund earlier in the transfer window.

No way this idiot can be better than chicharito. If he want to rot on bench no problem. Chicharito should start this season else he is wasting his time.
