On Thursday Luis Suarez is expected to return to the Uruguay side to face England in the must-win side for both teams.
The Uruguayan striker missed his sides defeat to Costa Rica and he will be more motivated than ever to step on to the pitch in São Paolo and effectively knock England out of the World Cup.
He will be fired up and even more so now as Roy Hodgson has suggested that the Liverpool number seven is not world class.
Suarez has constantly proved doubters wrong and is now on the same level as Messi and Ronaldo and what Hodgson has said will urge Suarez to prove the England manager wrong.
Steven Gerrard must have been sitting with his head in his hands when he heard Hodgson say that because Suarez is world class and having played plenty of times against the English players he will know how to get round them.
On Thursday don’t be surprised if the headlines are about Luis Suarez and for all the wrong reasons… If you are an Englishman because he could put in a performance that those on The Kop have saw plenty of times in the past.
Last season Suarez scored 31 goals in the Premier League and was at times unstoppable and despite having a recent injury the small break would have refuelled him and he will be ready to shine on the world stage. For Uruguay he has 38 goals in 77 internationals, which is an impressive record and he will be looking to add to that in Brazil.
I don’t need to explain why Suarez is so good to the readers of this site because you watch him week in and week out in the red shirt, but Roy this is a message to you… You have given Suarez more motivation to be match fit and for him to shine on Thursday night, it may have been smarter for you to leave those comments until after the game and worry about own team before the game.

Wow,now Roy Hodgson is an ediot. How quickly everyone forget nearly 95% of England including some LFC fans wanted this same Luis Suarez to be expelled from EPL. Professional players booed when his name was read as a nominee for EPL player of the year2012/13. In just a single season, the same player kicked everyone’s back and showed what kind of player he is. Why scold Hodgson when Suarez is just doing what he does best? He showed how he loves his country more. Some English players are more concerned about their club and pay cheque. Roy and the England players should be proud to go to Brazil and face the challenge even when it is an impossible mission unlike some cowards who only know how to criticize. Apart from the setback, most of the players are very young, next WC England will be better. BELIEVE. Proud of the young lions.
