With the end of the summer transfer window barely 2 weeks away from closing, Liverpool’s business looks almost complete. The only missing ingredients to what would be a near perfect transfer window is a solid back-up goalkeeper and a top – as close to world class as possible – striker.
On the topic of extra forward options, Rodgers said “We’ll aim to do that [add a striker] right until the end.
“The money is there, but it’s not as if there’s panic to buy.”
Whilst Liverpool have been reportedly tracking a number of options, the names of Radamel Falcao and Edinson Cavani will have excited Reds fans most and Falcao, in particular, would be the most likely of the two to be capable of replacing the talent of Luis Suarez.
However, Rodgers added a note of caution, saying “It is something we will look to complete before the end of the window, but if we do not add upfront, it means the right player did not become available to us.”
Who do you feel Liverpool should be chasing in the final weeks to complete Brendan Rodgers’ summer recruitment drive?

yes will need a nice and sharp striker like falcao,, dat we be a perfect addition for d red
One class striker would be the end of an excellent transfer window. One of the best in recent memory.
I hope we don’t end up buying a big name ‘top striker’ and end up having to alter the entire team to accomodate him alongside Sturridge.
Somebody of the ilk of Lacazette, Aubameyang, etc would be ideal, as they have the potential to develop into top strikers of their own right in the near future, but also could fit into the 433 or 4231 formation along with Sturridge, and are not too ‘big’ to spend some time on the bench when need be, which would not be the case with somebody like Falcao or Cavani…
Why do we not go for Chicharito? He is available…knows the prem…and is pretty good. Can someone explain why we don’t go for him?
If I may say we need a powerful triker who will help sturidge, cause sturidge and lambert can’t do that work alone. And this man called lambert is getting old, so we need somebody like (Falcao) to replace the wonderful man (suares). And if you compare between Falcao and cavani, I think Falcao is better than cavani and i will love our honourably coach (bredan Rodgers) to sign (Falcao) because he’s the fans choice and aslo a wonderful striker
Chicharito,Lacazette,Aubameyang,Reus would be the ideal signing. We need to make Sturridge our main man and any of these names above as the 2nd striker, coz they are all world class and can deliver as the main striker or 2nd striker. YNWA!!!
what about edin dzeco from man city ?
