Reports suggest that Utd could rival Liverpool for the signing of this Barca star player
As reported following the World Cup in the summer by a number of sources, Liverpool are supposedly still interested in bringing Barcelona star Dani Alves to the club. However, this time the claims are that Manchester United will rival Brendan Rodgers side for the signing of the Brazil defender.

The Brazilian has long been thought of as one of the best attacking full-backs in the world and, at 31, would still represent an improvement on the options either club has in his position and a lot may rest on the respective league positions come January.
