PSG’s Cavani Back on Liverpool Radar

Cavani is reportedly still very unhappy at PSG, having to play out wide from Ibrahimovic

Reports emerging from France today are claiming that PSG star striker, Edinson Cavani, is again unhappy about the situation at the Parisian giants. According to leading French newspaper L’Equipe, Cavani is again very unhappy with the fact that he is having to play second-fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Having played 4 league games for PSG so far this season, the striker has 2 goals, bringing his total to 27 in 45 overall for the billionaire club.

Having recently signed Mario Balotelli, Liverpool would appear to be well-stocked in the strikers department, with Sturridge, Lambert and Fabio Borini. However, manager Rodgers has made it clear that, unless unfortunate circumstances alter the situation, Borini will find his chances limited, meaning Liverpool could again look fairly light in the striking department, particularly when one considers the fragility of Daniel Sturridge’s body.

According to the reports, Liverpool could face competition from Arsenal and Man Utd but depending on how each club is fairing come the January window, and whether Arsenal and Liverpool are still competing in Europe, Cavani’s decision could be swayed by more than just money.
