Lallana again showed why Rodgers paid big bucks for the midfielder

Today, Liverpool showed that even when they’re not at their best, they are still a class above the Blues and, but for a ‘worldie’ from Everton’s captain Jagielka, Liverpool would’ve earned a well-deserved 3 points. That said, it wasn’t all rosy for the Reds and one or two players left the field without having put in a display that is expected of the entire team on derby day. I'm a 32 year old Liverpool fan, living in the heart of the City Centre. I've supported the club since the day I was born and have been writing articles for L4L for over 3 years, writing close over 350 articles in that time. My favorite player of the past generation is Sami Hyypia.

I am the current editor for L4L, with my day job being in R&D for the NHS.

No, the once who looked stupid is the guys who paid 25 million for him. Man of the match? What did he create? Score?

    Henderson, yes.

Gerrard deserves a 6 and nothing more. Agreed. But, he is being man marked in every single game (some new strategy against Liverpool) just like Naismith who was tailing him all day long. And just as usual, he made some brilliant defensive interruptions and clearance.
Adam Lallana was clearly the man of the match in anyone’s eyes. He worked hard and tried to be creative in the opposition half which not many did.
