Rickie Lambert It’s getting harder to add to the ‘successive defeats column’ but that’s exactly what’s happening game after game, as Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool side struggles to find form, goals or any kind of cohesive spell during a match.

The fallout will last as far as the Ludogorets game in the week, but for the next 48 hours it’s going to be ugly and he will find himself under pressure to make changes and fix the problems that are costing the team points. In the mean time, the players themselves must take a long hard look at themselves because barely any of them will come away from this player ratings with much in the way of credit.

Is it possible for a team to mass implode? Can every player suddenly become awful within a few months? If not then the problem has to be the manager and coaching staff. No leadership, no intensity, no anything. Can’t see this improving to be honest which is worrying and the rumble amongst the fans is getting louder which hopefully is worrying the manager – so it should!

  • Diego Digger Souness says:

This is embarassing, selling Suarez was a disaster but Rodgers cannot organise a back four which is his downfall.

rodgers should simple get sacked! Before he turns us into a relegation club with his dogmatic approach

He will get sacked but one thing worse than our pretend manager is no one at all.
They gave him the confidence vote, Rogers knows he is on thin ice.

In my opinion, the prof for Brendan being an average manager was last year!! I kept on and on about the defense and the need to score 5 to win a game. Was laughed at. Oh, and the naivity against Chelsea and palace last season was for all those who have eyes to see. Chelsea came to GIFT us the title. With a second string team. We went for the win, when the draw was good enough.
This is a carbon copy! One job, one job he had to do in the last 2 years. Sort out the defense. Failed…..full stop.
As it happens, Suarez is not there to turn 3-1 into 3-3. Found out for what he is. An average stubborn manager who belived the summer hype .
Worse thing, is the way people try to dress things and put a positive spin.
An article appeared here saying Brendan makes the right decision to put a losing team! After all, we weren’t going to win. Chelsea was a priority!
Read the media, and they will tell you 4 loses. Really? Draw against hull? Lose to Chelsea at home, Real Madrid??? It’s about 7 games now with no win on sight?
Shocking. At least try and be truthful guys.
