Ahead of an inevitable move away from his current side, Norway’s Martin Odegaard trained with Liverpool today, after spending Wednesday at Anfield and Melwood, before taking in the city with his father.
The 15-year old midfielder has been tracked by Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid and looks almost certain to be at one of Europe’s top sides come the summer transfer window.
The player, who has been compared to Lionel Messi – amongst others – has spent Thursday training with his new team-mates in a bid to impress manager Brendan Rodgers, ahead of a potential move to Anfield.
And the new Norwegian international appears to have been enjoying himself, having spent time with a club he has supported since a boy, and later on being shown around – it appears – by Liverpool’s own current maestro, Philippe Coutinho.
