Skrtel and Can confront Costa after his first incident of stamping last night
So, slightly surprisingly, Diego Costa has been charged with violent conduct by the FA.
The charge was announced just a couple of hours ago by the FA, citing his ‘violent conduct’ for an incident that wasn’t seen by the match officials but was captured by video cameras.
Bizarrely, the charge only relates to the incident involving Emre Can, which appears to be an easy escape for the FA, as it shows action being taken on a very obvious incident of violent conduct.
But, as stated on the FA website, “following a review of an incident during the game involving Costa and Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel, The FA will not be taking any further action.” The ‘incident’ involving Skrtel was no doubt less clear cut but the Chelsea striker actually appeared to stamp on Skrtel twice.
How do you feel about the charge – will Costa receive nothing more than a short ban and, if he does, is that correct? Let us know how you feel Costa should be punished.
England FA should have to protect other team and favouritism. If costa is to be charge for what happen in capital one second leg,what well happen to sketel elbow on costal during first leg,steven actoin,handalson hand ball,sketel charleng on costal in the box? FA should think before they take some action.

To be honest Costa over related. I did not blame Chelsea coach for complaining over refree and FA, It takes only the grace of God for Chelsea to still have Hazard and Costa playing till these moment, cos both of them have escape alot of bad tackles that would have end their carriers and FA didn’t say anything them.

David, the FA can take action retrospectively even if the officials saw the incidents.Retrospective punishment rulling was introduced in November 2013. Check your facts before you call others stupids. You should apologize!
