Markovic was outstanding against Sunderland tonight
A much-improved performance from Liverpool today has reignited hopes for the teams fortunes after an awful few days of departures and lack of activity in the transfer market.
Top displays from Coutinho, Can, Lucas and Markovic have given us hope, though. Particularly with the likes of Sterling, Sturridge and Lallana still to return to the side, things don’t look quite so bleak but some cameos from the likes of Balotelli and Lovren served as a reminder that all is still not well.

Sorry to say but that liverpool performance was POOR,when is this going to stop,when are we going to be proud of our teams performance,they do not play like a team,nobody is confident ON the ball,thats why they play as if nobody wants the ball.Watch them when they dont have the ball,they play lethargic,poor football thats why teams get the better of them.They do not know fast ,moving off the ball football.Sorry henderson is also not the answer,he is poor thats why he tries to work hard,knowing he lacks ALOT in other aeas.Sakho,get rid of him,he encourages pther teams to press cause he is very SHAKY on the ball.MIGNOLET chase him away,borini as well,lucas as well.The most important is for br to buy proper players,stop playing players out of position ,instill a faster passing off the ball movement play,stop this playing back to keeper play,cause it means the front players are not moving enough,PLEASE CROSS RUNNING AND NOT CHANNEL RUNNING,DEFENDERS HATE PLAYERS WHO RUN ACROSS THEM
I wanna agree with Deon on most of his point. Lack of confidence was very obvious in a match that we should have put to rest. Playing players out of position often gives alot of trouble to the team. Sakoh at the center of defense is never gonna help us. Please BR buy what we need and a player that can always make difference.

the different between world class and average players is that the former hit the ground with classy performance from the start, while the later will need time to adapt to the new system. I believe the new players will come good but with time.
Can’t enjoy watching this Liverpool team these days even if we win, the football is boring and tedious. Don’t know what went so badly wrong with the coaches.
